Fm Production

Our place is located in the Ladur Gomes Compound on Khearani Road, right in the heart of Sakinaka. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always noise and movement around us. Fm Production is where we handle various production tasks, mostly involving equipment and some small-scale manufacturing or assembly. The compound has been around for ages and it shows. Our workspace is filled with tools, parts, and whatever project we’re currently working on. It’s definitely not a clean, white-glove kind of office. There’s usually dust on the shelves and grease on the tables. We spend a lot of time fixing things or trying to figure out a better way to put something together. Sakinaka is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the heat, but we’re used to it by now. We work with a lot of different people who need things made or repaired. We don’t do a lot of talking; we mostly just focus on the machines and the output. It’s a practical, hands-on environment. Some days are slow, and other days we are working late to finish a batch of items. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us in the workshop doing what we know how to do. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-work with the radio playing in the background.
