Our place is tucked away in the Abdul Rashid Compound, specifically at D-8. It’s on Khairani Road in Sakinaka. If you know where Sanman Hotel is, we are right behind it. It’s a busy industrial area, lots of trucks and noise. We deal with tools, all kinds of them. The shop is full of metal, shelves, and boxes. It smells like oil and steel in here, which I’ve gotten used to over the years. We aren't a big showroom. It’s more of a warehouse and a small office space. We help people find the right equipment for their jobs. Most of our customers are workers from the nearby factories or contractors. It’s a dusty place because of all the construction around Sakinaka. We have a small crew that knows where every single bolt and wrench is kept. Sometimes we struggle to find things ourselves when it gets busy. We don't have a website that’s updated every day. We prefer talking to people face to face or over the phone. Being near Gm Studio means there’s always something happening on the road. We’ve been here a long time and the neighborhood knows us. It’s a straightforward business. We sell tools that work, and that’s about it. No fuss, no fancy talk. Just hardware. We usually close up shop as soon as the sun goes down and the traffic gets heavy. It's a hard day's work but it feels good. We like it here.
