Our office is right above the Maharaja Restaurant in Sakinaka, which is actually a pretty good landmark because everyone knows where that is. We are in the Amar Industrial Estate at 126. If you have ever been to Kurla Andheri Road, you know how crazy the traffic can get around here. It is constant noise from the trucks and the bikes zooming past. We are also right near the Lathia Rubber Factory. People usually mention that twice when giving directions because it is so big. Working with chemicals is not always easy, and the office can get a bit cramped with all the files and samples we keep around. The air in Sakinaka always has that industrial smell, a mix of rubber and exhaust, but you stop noticing it after the first week. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking shipments that are coming in from the port. It is a lot of coordination. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just have to wait it out. The guys downstairs at the restaurant are friendly, and we often grab lunch there when we are too busy to go far. We have been in this spot for a while now, and even though it is crowded and loud, it is where we do our business. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the customers get what they ordered without too much fuss or delay.
