We've been here at J-212 in the Ansa Industrial Estate for a while now. Saki Vihar Road is always busy, but getting work done in the middle of that Andheri East chaos is just part of the routine. Most days involve dealing with plastic parts and whatever orders come through the door. Because these units are small, it gets a bit cramped inside sometimes. My brother and I started this after learning the trade, and we’ve simply stuck with it. There isn't a fancy front office here, so people just drop by the workshop if they need something made. Using older machines works fine for us since they get the job done without much fuss. Much of our time is spent checking molds and making sure the raw material arrived on time. Whenever the electricity goes out for an hour, we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It's a simple setup without any big advertising or promotion. Most neighbors around this part of the estate know what we do anyway. If a batch isn't right, we just redo it until it is. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. Even though the area has changed with more buildings coming up, we’re still in the same spot keeping the machines running. It’s not a big corporate thing, just a regular workshop where we make plastic stuff for whoever needs it.
