Saintlyplast

Saintlyplast is located in the Malad East area of Mumbai. We are in a place called Jai Santoshi Mata Chawl, within Maheshwar Nagar in Appa-Pada. This is a very local, grassroots part of the city. We have been here for a long time, working with plastics. The area is quite crowded with narrow lanes and lots of houses packed together. It is a real community atmosphere where everyone knows their neighbors. Our workspace is humble and focuses on the actual production and handling of materials. We don't have a big office or fancy furniture. It is mostly just the machines and the raw materials we use every day. Living and working in a chawl means you are always around people. It can be noisy, but it is also very lively. We started out small and have just kept going. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. People in the area know what we do and they come to us when they need something made or supplied. It is honest work and we do it every single day. The heat in the summer can be tough inside the workshop, but we keep the fans going. We are just local people trying to make a living in Malad. It is a simple setup, and we like it that way because it keeps us close to our roots. This is how we have always operated, just doing the work and taking things one day at a time.
