You can find Sai Krishna & Co. on the ground floor of Mistry House, which is located at 32 Bomanji Lane in the Fort area. Being in Fort means we are surrounded by some of the oldest buildings in the city. Mistry House itself has a lot of history, with its thick walls and old-style windows. Our office isn't one of those modern, air-conditioned boxes. It feels more like a traditional workspace, with high ceilings and plenty of wooden cupboards for all our records. We are right on the ground floor, so we can see people walking by on Bomanji Lane all day long. It’s a narrow lane, but it’s always full of life. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know the other people in the building quite well. Our work involves a lot of paperwork and dealing with various clients who stop by. We aren't a big, fancy firm. It’s just a few of us who manage the daily operations. We don't have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just show up every morning, open the heavy doors, and start our work. Sometimes we sit and have tea with our neighbors while we discuss the news. It’s a very human way to run a business. We like the character of this neighborhood and the fact that everything is within walking distance. We just focus on getting our tasks finished and heading home to our families at the end of the day.
