Sai Decor

We have been operating Sai Decor out of the Gopal Niwas Building for a good number of years now. You can find us right on the ground floor at 137 Princes Street. It is a busy area with lots of people walking by all day. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of fabrics, curtain rods, and wallpaper books. Sometimes it gets so crowded in here that you have to shuffle sideways to get to the back. We don't have a fancy display window like the big stores do. Instead, we just put out what we think looks decent. Most of the time, it's just me and a couple of others helping out. We spend our mornings unpacking boxes and our afternoons talking to neighbors who want to change their living room look. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics because that's not our style. We just show you the prices and tell you if a fabric is going to last or if it's too thin. The lighting in the shop is a bit yellow, so we often take samples out to the sidewalk so people can see the real color in the sunlight. It's a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over time, but we're still here in the same spot. Come say hello if you're nearby. We usually have the door open if the weather is nice.
