Sahara India Pariwar (Aamby Valley City)

We are based out of unit 29 at Aarey Milk Colony, right across from Royal Palms and the Film City area in Goregaon East. Our building is known as CEO No 63. If you’ve ever been to Aarey, you know it’s like a different world compared to the rest of Mumbai. There are trees everywhere and you can actually hear the birds instead of just car horns. Our office is pretty basic. We’ve got some desks, a few old chairs, and piles of documents related to the Aamby Valley City projects. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they do the job for now. We spend our days coordinating with the different teams and handling the paperwork that comes through from the city. It’s often quite dusty because of the nearby construction and the traffic heading towards Film City. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of that. Usually, you’ll just find us hunched over our computers or talking on the phone. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going through the afternoon slump. It’s just a regular workplace in a very green part of town. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep doing our bit and making sure the work gets done by the end of the day.
