Sahara (I) Pariwar

If you head down S. V. Road in Goregaon West, you can’t really miss the Sahara India building. It is a big place and a bit of a landmark for people in this part of Mumbai. We are right there in the middle of all the noise and traffic that comes with being on one of the busiest roads in the city. Sahara (I) Pariwar has a lot of different departments, but the vibe is still pretty grounded. People are always coming and going, some looking for information and others just doing their daily chores. The lobby is usually busy, and the security guys know almost everyone by sight. It isn't like those modern glass buildings; this place has been around for a while and has a bit of history to it. You can hear the constant honking from the street outside even when you are deep inside the office. We have a lot of desks and a lot of files everywhere. It is a large operation, but we still use simple systems to keep track of things. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s a practical environment where the focus is just on getting through the tasks. There is no fancy mission statement on the wall, just some old photos and the schedule. We have a lot of people working here, but it still feels like a local spot. It is a reliable place to be in Goregaon.
