You can find us at 104/108 on Modi Street in Fort. This area is always packed with people and small shops, and Sagar Plastics & Stationery is right in the thick of it. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes of pens, notebooks, and all sorts of plastic items. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to breathe, but we like the energy of the street. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. Most mornings are spent unpacking deliveries and trying to find a spot for everything. We don't have a computer system that tracks every single pen; we mostly just remember where we put things. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The lights are a bit dim in the back, so we have to use flashlights sometimes to find specific stock. Fort is a historic place, and you can feel that in the old walls of our building. We get all kinds of people coming in, from students looking for a cheap pencil to office workers buying bulk supplies. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know we are here on Modi Street. The rain can be a bit of a problem when the street floods, but we just move the stock higher and keep going. It’s just regular work for regular people and we try to be helpful when we can.
