Our office is in Santacruz East, tucked away in Goving Niwas at Kalina. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic near the airport area can be a real pain some days. We have been doing shipping stuff from this building for a bit now. Inside, it is mostly just us at our desks, surrounded by files and calendars. Being in Kalina means we are near a lot of other businesses, so it always feels active outside. You can hear the planes sometimes, which reminds us of where we are. The office at number 17 is simple. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It's just a workspace where we handle all the shipping details for people. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the afternoon, but we have the fans going and just keep at it. Safe Shipping Services isn't a massive company with hundreds of people; we are a smaller group that knows how to get the job done without making a big fuss. Usually, our mornings are spent on the phone or checking emails to make sure everything is moving. We see the same faces every day in the neighborhood, the local vendors and the people working in the other offices in Goving Niwas. It is a bit of a cramped area sometimes, but it works for us. We just come in, do our bit for the day, and head home like everyone else in Mumbai. It's just simple shipping work.
