Sadhwani & Co

We have been here at the Babu Building on Grant Road for a while now. If you know the area, it is right by the R K Hotel, so it stays pretty busy around here. Our office is up on the first floor in the Doddanekkundi Industrial Area part, even though people mostly call it Grant Road. Most days we are just buried in files and doing the regular work that comes with running a firm like Sadhwani & Co. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic and people moving about, but you get used to it after a few years. We started out small and stayed in this same spot because it is easy for everyone to find. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, and sometimes the electricity acts up when it rains heavy in Mumbai, but we manage. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other well. We don't do anything fancy. It is just about getting the paperwork done and making sure everything is filed where it belongs. Sometimes customers stop by just to ask for directions because of the landmarks nearby. We don't mind that at all. It is just the way things are in this part of town. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually take our breaks. It is a simple setup we have here, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in other parts of the city.
