Sadguru Plastics

You can find us at unit 422 in Kalyandas Udyog Bhavan, right on Century Bazar Lane in the Worli area. Being in Worli means we are in the middle of all the action. Sadguru Plastics has been operating out of this building for a long time now. It’s an older industrial building, so it has that specific smell of grease and hard work. The elevators sometimes have a mind of their own, but we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. We work with various plastic materials and do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. The machines make plenty of noise, so you often have to shout to be heard on the floor. Our workspace isn't decorated with anything special at all. It’s just a place to get the job done. Worli has changed so much with all the new glass towers and fancy offices, but our little corner in the udyog bhavan stays exactly the same. We get a lot of local buyers who just walk in to see what we are making that day. We keep our raw materials stacked high in the back corner. Managing the space is always a bit of a challenge. We don't have any fancy posters about values on the wall. We just want to finish the orders on time. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due to go out. That is just the way things are in this industry.
