S S Bhalerao & Company is located at 101 Shivaji Nagar in Lokhandwala, right behind the Congress Bhavan in Andheri. It’s been here for quite a while now. When people come by to see us, they usually look for that big building nearby because the lanes around here can get a bit confusing if you aren't from this part of town. We just go about our daily work and handle things as they come. Being in a spot like Shivaji Nagar means there is always something happening right outside the door. Sometimes the traffic is heavy and the horns are loud, but that’s just life in Mumbai, isn't it? We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area with a receptionist, just a couple of desks and some chairs where we sit and figure things out. Most of the people who drop in are regulars or folks who heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We keep our paperwork organized in old folders on the shelves. It isn't the most modern setup you will ever see, but it works for what we do. If you walk past the Congress Bhavan, you’ll find our entrance easily enough. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, even if it gets a bit noisy from the street. There isn't much to say other than we show up every morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple enough place.
