S. R. Technologies

We are over in the Ujagar Industrial Estate in Deonar. Specifically, we’re on the 3rd floor, unit number 37. To get here, you have to come down Waman Tukaram Patil Marg. It’s a typical Mumbai industrial estate with lots of small businesses all packed together in one building. The elevator is one of those old ones with the metal gate that you have to pull shut yourself. On the third floor, it’s mostly just us at S. R. Technologies and a couple of other tech-related shops. This is where we do all our assembly and testing. It’s not a quiet place. There’s always the hum of computers and testing equipment. We have some workbenches and a few desks for the paperwork. The view from the window is just more industrial buildings and the road below. We don't have a fancy breakroom, just a corner with a kettle and some cups. Most of us eat lunch at our desks or go out to the small food stalls on the street. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the estate sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough to know our way around. It’s just a place where we come to work on tech stuff. Nothing fancy, just the daily routine of fixing and building things. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the cables get a bit tangled. We just keep at it until the day ends.
