You can find us at Geeta Industrial Estate, right on I. B. Patel Road in Goregaon East. We have two units, 101 and 102, which are right next to each other on the first floor. Being next to Laghu Udhyog means there is always noise from machinery and trucks moving in the lane. Our space is usually filled with the smell of metal and grease because that’s just the nature of what we do. It’s a very hands-on environment. The lights are a bit dim in the hallways of the estate, but we have bright tubes inside the units so we can see what we are doing. Most of the guys here have been working with S R Industries for over a decade. We have an old wooden desk where we keep all the registers. Everything is written down by hand mostly. The afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard, so we’ve put up some old newspapers to block the heat. It’s not a place for visitors to come and sit on sofas. It’s a factory floor where things get made. We spend most of our time troubleshooting machines or checking the raw materials that come in. Goregaon is a busy place, and I. B. Patel Road is one of those spots where you always have to watch your step because of the activity. We just focus on getting the daily production done.
