We are over here at No. 107-C on Mohamad Ali Road. S. Md. Ayub Md. Yaqub (Perfumers) Pvt. Ltd. has been around for a while now. It’s usually pretty busy outside with all the traffic, but inside it smells quite a bit different because of what we do. We mostly deal with different scents and oils. Some days it gets pretty hot in the shop, but we just keep going. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. People come by looking for specific smells, and we try to help them out as well as we can. There isn't much space for a big waiting area or anything like that, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent mixing things or checking the bottles. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the workspace and the counters. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when there are a lot of orders to pack up and send out. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It feels like home to us. If you walk down Mohamad Ali Road, you’ll probably find us without too much trouble. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or advertising. We just focus on the perfumes and making sure the bottles are filled right. It’s a simple life here in the city, but we like the work we do.
