S M Studio

You can find S M Studio over on LBS Marg. Even though the address says Andheri West, we are tied into the Mulund West side of things at number 1. It’s a bit of a trip depending on where you're coming from, but the location works well for us. The studio isn't some massive warehouse; it’s a modest space where we keep all our equipment and supplies. Things tend to get cluttered quickly when we are in the middle of a project. There are cables, boxes, and bits of paper in most of the corners. We try to organize it every Saturday afternoon, but by Tuesday, it’s usually back to how it was before. We don't have a receptionist or anyone sitting at the front. If you knock on the door, one of us will just get up from what we are doing and let you in. We spend a lot of time sitting at the main table discussing what needs to happen next. There’s a small window that lets in some sunlight, but we mostly rely on the overhead lights to see what we are doing. We drink way too much tea during the day to keep our energy up. The street outside is always noisy with buses and cars, but we've learned to tune it out. It’s just part of being in this part of town. It’s a straightforward place.
