S. Champak & Co.

We’ve been running S. Champak & Co. out of Shreeji Chamber for a long time. Our office is room 218, right in the heart of the Opera House district. If you know the area, you know it’s the center of everything on J. Tata Road. We’re positioned on Road No. 1 & 2, right opposite Prasad Chamber. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, especially with all the diamond and jewelry businesses around. Our office isn't anything spectacular to look at. It’s a functional space with old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers. We’ve got a view of the street, which is always packed with cars and people. Being in Shreeji Chamber means we’re part of a community of old-school businesses. We don’t use any corporate jargon or follow any fancy mission statements. We just come in, do our work, and deal with whatever comes up that day. The building has that old Mumbai charm, which means the stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow. We’ve spent years here, and the place has grown on us. It’s where we handle all our accounts and meetings. It’s not always perfectly organized, and things can get a bit hectic, but we prefer it this way. It feels like a real place where actual work gets done by real people every day.
