We are down at 52 Sarang Street. It’s one of those busy, narrow streets where there is always something going on. S. A.Mahabaleshwarwala & Co. has been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. Our building is old, and the stairs might creak a bit, but it’s home for the business. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. Most of the day is spent dealing with suppliers and talking to customers who walk in from the street. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stock, but we know where everything is. The name on the board outside is a bit of a mouthful, but most people just know us as the place on the corner of the block. We don't bother with polished presentations or corporate talk. If someone needs something, we just look through the inventory and see if we have it. The street outside is usually loud with carts and bikes, which adds to the character of the place. We start early in the morning and stay until things are packed up at night. It’s a bit of a traditional way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. No need to change what isn't broken.
