S A Mahagaonkar is based out of Aaram Society, near Vakola Bridge in Andheri West. Specifically, we're at 5/0054. It’s a residential area, so it’s much calmer than the main roads nearby. We’ve been operating here for a long time. The office is basically just a room with a lot of files and books. We handle a lot of paperwork and official filings for people in the neighborhood. It’s meticulous work, and it can be quite dry sometimes. We don't have a big staff, just me and a helper who comes in a few times a week. The society is nice, and we’ve known our neighbors for years. Sometimes they drop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice. We don't have a sign outside or anything like that. Most people know where to find us. The traffic around Vakola Bridge is always a bit of a mess, so we usually tell people to come during the off-hours. We aren't looking to grow into some huge company. We’re happy just keeping things small and manageable. We use an old computer that takes forever to start up, but it gets the job done eventually. It’s a very traditional way of working. We don't go in for any of that modern corporate talk. We just do the filings, check the numbers, and make sure everything is in order for the next day. Sometimes we have tea together with the neighbors in the afternoon.
