Ruttonsha International Rectifier Ltd is based in the Solaris 1 building, B Wing. We are at units 139 to 141. It’s right on Saki Vihar Road in the Powai area of Andheri (East). It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who lives here knows. The traffic on Saki Vihar Road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings. We’ve been in this wing for a long time. Our space is filled with equipment and boxes, as we handle a lot of different components. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s a working office and warehouse. We have a dedicated crew who knows where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just work with rectifiers and other parts. The B Wing is full of other businesses too, so there’s always someone in the hallway. We have our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We’ve seen Powai change from a quiet spot to a major hub. We just keep doing our thing year after year. It’s a steady job and we take pride in just getting through the day’s tasks without making a big fuss about it. If you’re coming to see us, give yourself extra time for the traffic. We’re usually here until late anyway, just making sure the shipments are ready.
