Russell Airflow Systems is based out of Russell House, which is located at number 74 on Hasnabad Lane in Santacruz West. It’s a bit of a tight street, which is pretty typical for this part of Mumbai, so getting larger deliveries in or out can be a real puzzle sometimes. We have been working out of this building for quite some time now. Inside, it’s a mix of office space and storage for all the airflow parts we handle every day. We don’t have any slick marketing displays in the window to attract attention. Mostly, it’s just us sitting at our desks or checking things in the back rooms. The air conditioning is always on, which is lucky considering the humidity and what we do for a living. You can hear all the sounds of the neighborhood outside—people calling out, horns honking, and the usual Santacruz vibe. We like being here because it feels like a real community. The staff knows the local food vendors well, and we often get our snacks from the little shop on the corner. We don’t really do the whole corporate hierarchy thing; it’s more of a team effort where everyone chips in to help. The walls have technical drawings and some old photos from when the company first started. It’s a bit lived-in, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational. We’re just a local business on a busy lane.
