Rushi Steel & Engg. Company

Rushi Steel is located at No. 11 in the Rele Building. We are right on the ground floor, which is lucky because we handle a lot of heavy stuff. Being on 2nd Carpenter Street, just off Nanubhai Desai Road, means there’s always some kind of engineering or mechanical work going on nearby. Our space is filled with tools, steel parts, and various bits of machinery. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but we know where everything is kept. We spend most of our time wearing work clothes and getting our hands a bit dirty. It’s not a place for fancy shirts. We do a mix of steel supply and some engineering bits when needed. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the day fixing them instead of working on orders, but that’s just the nature of the job. The neighbors are mostly in the same line of work, so there’s a lot of noise from grinding and welding throughout the day. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; if you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us under a machine or checking a measurement. We just try to get the work done as it comes in. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’re just a small crew doing our best in a busy part of the city. We hope to stay here for a long time.
