Rupam Conductor

We’ve been running Rupam Conductor out of this spot in Kurar Village for quite some time now. If you know Malad East, you probably know where the Shivsena Shakha is, and we are right near there, just opposite the Police Chowkie. It’s a busy area and the chawl gets a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. Our space isn't huge or anything, but it works for what we do. Most days involve handling different types of conductors and making sure things get where they need to go. It’s honest work and we don't really bother with big advertisements or fancy signs. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. The building is an old chawl, so it has that local feel. Sometimes the noise from the street is a lot, especially when there’s a festival or something going on at the Shakha. We just keep the shutters up and stay busy with the orders. It’s mostly just us and a couple of guys helping out with the loading. We don't have a big corporate team, just regular people working hard. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. If you are looking for us, just ask anyone near Abdul Hamid Mistry Chawls. It’s a bit of a maze if you are new, but we are easy to spot once you get to the chowkie.
