Malad West is where this office is located. It is in the Nalanda building, specifically K407 in Sunder Nagar. The S V Road traffic is something you just get used to after a while. Most mornings start with unlocking the door and letting the place air out a bit. There are a few desks and a lot of old files. We have been in this spot for a bit, so the neighbors all know us. It is not a very big space, but it works for what we do every day. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. You can hear the sounds of the local market nearby during the afternoon. We usually have tea from the guy who comes around with a kettle at four. It is a quiet routine for the most part. Paperwork takes up a lot of the time, and there is always something that needs to be filed or signed. The light coming through the window in the evening is actually quite nice. It is just a regular place where work gets done without much fuss. If you are coming from the station, it takes about fifteen minutes depending on the rickshaws. We don't have a big sign outside, just the room number on the door. It is how things have always been here in this corner of Malad.
