Royal Chains

You can find us in the Bhagat Building at 127/129, right in the heart of Zaveri Bazaar. If you have ever been through these lanes, you know how crowded and hectic it can be. Our shop is small and every bit of space is used for storing or showing the chains we work with. Most of our day is spent looking at very small details through a magnifying glass. We work with gold and silver, so we have to be very careful with everything. The building itself is quite old and the stairs are steep, but it has a lot of character. We have been in this same spot for many years now. We know the other jewelers and the tea sellers on this block by name. We don't have a fancy marketing department. Usually, people just come in because their fathers or grandfathers bought from us before. It gets very hot in the summer and the small fans we have don't do much, but we just keep going. During the big festivals, the whole bazaar is full of energy and we stay late to make sure everything is ready. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. We would rather just focus on making sure the links are strong and the finish is right. It is a traditional way of doing things and it works for us. The noise of the market is just the background music to our lives.
