Rosy Blue is in the Prasad Chambers building, at unit 1616. It’s a well-known spot in Opera House, and we’ve been here for a long time. The office is pretty much what you’d expect from a place that’s been operating for years. It’s full of desks, filing cabinets, and people who have been working together for ages. We don’t really go in for any of that modern office design. It’s just a practical place to get work done. The elevators in Prasad Chambers can be a bit slow, so we often find ourselves waiting around and chatting with people from other floors. It’s a very social building in that way. Our days are mostly spent on the phone or looking at paperwork. It’s not glamorous, but it’s the reality of the business. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day, and there’s usually some snacks on someone’s desk to share. The view from the window isn’t much, just other buildings and the busy street below, but we’re usually too busy to look out anyway. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, without making a big deal out of it. It’s a reliable routine that keeps us going from Monday to Saturday. We’re just a bunch of people working hard in a busy part of Mumbai, trying to keep everything organized for the long haul.
