We've been at Plot No. 12 in Kalpataru Industrial Estate for quite some time now. People around Dhokali Naka usually know where we are because of the noise from the workshop. It’s mostly just us working on machines every day. Rollmech Machines (I) Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy place, just a regular setup on Kolshet Road where we get things done. Sometimes the traffic near the estate is a bit much in the mornings, but we manage to get in early. Our shop floor isn't always the cleanest, but that’s how it goes when you're dealing with heavy equipment and metal all day long. We have a small crew here, mostly guys who have been with us for years. They know the routine and how each machine sounds when it’s running right. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over and over. We don't really have a big office or anything. Most of the space is taken up by the stuff we’re building or fixing. We just try to keep up with the orders that come in. It’s a steady pace. Usually, we're here until late evening finishing up. It’s not always easy, especially when a part doesn't fit or a delivery gets delayed, but we figure it out. That's just how the days go here in the industrial estate. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the work at hand. Sometimes we stop for a tea break, but mostly it's just the sound of the tools and the radio.
