We have been running Rolex Aluminium from here for a long time. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the big trucks come in to drop off the aluminium loads, but we manage somehow. The shop floor is usually covered in offcuts and dust, which is just part of the job when you deal with metal all day. We started small and just kept going because people around here needed reliable supplies. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the saws are going, but we like the energy of the lane. Most of the guys here have been with us for years and they know the stock better than anyone else. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the orders ready and loaded up. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when the rain hits and we have to move everything inside quickly. We just do our work, talk to the regulars, and try to make sure every piece of aluminium that leaves here is what the customer asked for. It’s a simple life on a busy street, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
