You can find us at Unit No. 001 in Srishti Plaza. It’s part of a commercial premises society right in Powai. ROFIN BAASEL LASER INDIA PVT LTD is what it says on the door, but to us, it’s just where we spend our nine-to-five. Powai is a busy area, with lots of traffic and people always on the move. Being on the ground floor or Unit 001 makes it easy to get in and out, which is nice when we have deliveries coming through. The office isn't massive, but we manage to fit everything in. We deal with laser equipment, so there are always manuals and technical parts sitting around on the tables. It’s a bit of a mix between an office and a workshop. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always on for someone. The lighting is that typical office fluorescent style, and some of the chairs have definitely seen better days. It’s an honest workplace. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to keep the paperwork from taking over the desks entirely. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the neighbors in the plaza are doing renovations, but we just turn up the radio and keep going. It’s a good spot to be, and the local food around Powai is a big plus for all of us here.
