R.K.'S Home Solutions Marketing & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. is our name, and you can find us at D-7 in the Rashtra Sarathi Cooperative Housing Society in Mulund East, Mumbai. It’s a bit of a long name for such a small office, but it covers what we do. We help people with their homes, whether they need advice or materials. Being in a housing society means we are right in the middle of our neighbors. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with catalogs and samples. Mumbai is always loud and fast, but Mulund East feels a bit more relaxed. We’ve been working from this location for quite a few years now. We know the security guards and the other residents, and sometimes they pop in for a quick chat. A big corporate culture isn't something you'll find here. We just sit around and figure out how to solve a problem. Sometimes work goes late into the night if a deadline is coming up. Other times, we close up early if the day is slow. It’s just a regular small business. Jargon isn't something we use. We just tell people what we think. It’s a lot of phone calls and a lot of running around the city, but we like what we do. Every day is a little different. The D-7 office might be small, but we get a lot done within these walls every day and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
