RISHAB LITES

Rishab Lites is tucked away on the second floor of Gopal Niwas, specifically Office Number 1. We are located at 13, As-133, right on Princess Street along Kalbadevi Road. If you have ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how incredibly crowded it gets. The streets are narrow, and there are people everywhere carrying bundles of goods. Our building is one of those old ones with steep stairs and a lot of character. We deal with lights and lighting fixtures, so our space is usually filled with bulbs and wires hanging around. It’s not a modern glass office; it’s a traditional trade space where business happens over tea and lots of phone calls. The area is famous for this kind of work, and we are just one of the many shops trying to keep up with the pace. Sometimes the electricity in these old buildings can be a bit finicky, which is ironic since we sell lights. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers moving boxes up and down those stairs. It’s hard work, especially in the humidity, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels normal. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so that when someone walks in, we have what they need ready to go. It is a busy, noisy life, but we are used to it by now.
