We are located at unit 308 in the Kewal Industrial Estate. It’s on S. B. Marg in Lower Parel, which everyone knows is a pretty busy part of the city. The building is one of those classic industrial spaces where you see all kinds of businesses working side by side. Our floor is usually bustling with activity from early morning. We do all our design work here. It’s not a quiet studio by any means. There’s always someone moving something or a delivery guy coming through the door. The walls are covered with sketches and material swatches. We have a few big tables where we spread everything out to see how the designs are coming along. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years, but this industrial estate still feels like the old heart of the area. We like being here because everything is accessible. The afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so we usually have the blinds down by two. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp while we work on the finer details of the projects. It is a lot of hands-on work, and we don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It’s just how we operate. We’re more focused on the actual making of things than looking like a big corporation. It gets the job done and we are used to the noise.
