Research International

Our office is inside Bhagwat Bunglow on Sambhaji Path. We are right near S.V. Joshi High School in Dombivli East, so you can always hear the school bell and the kids playing during recess. It is actually quite a nice spot because it doesn't feel like a cold, sterile office building. Being in a bungalow gives the whole place a different feel. Research International is basically just a group of us working out of these rooms. We have desks tucked into corners and books piled up on the shelves. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and wave while we are sitting near the window. Dombivli is a busy suburb, and getting here on the train can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours, as anyone who lives in the Mumbai area knows. We usually start our day early to beat some of the heat. The office is a bit cluttered, to be honest. There are always files and notes everywhere because of the type of work we do. We don't really worry about having everything look perfect for visitors since we don't get many anyway. Most of our work is done through emails and phone calls. We just like having a steady place to work where we know the people around us. It is a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. Our little spot in the bungalow is home for now.
