Renukas Impex

Renukas Impex is located at 104 Opera House. We are right on Hughes Road inside the Dharam Palace building. It is a very old and famous part of the city. Being in Dharam Palace means we have a lot of neighbors in the same kind of business. The hallways are narrow and there is always someone carrying a parcel or a bag. Our office is unit 104, so it’s not a long walk up. We deal with import and export stuff, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and checking ledgers. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it, with high ceilings and heavy doors. It’s often quite busy at the entrance with people coming in from Hughes Road. We don't have a lot of decorations in our space, just the necessary desks and computers. The traffic outside is constant, and the sound of horns usually filters in through the windows. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the guy downstairs. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the shipments are on track. Opera House is a landmark itself, so people don't usually have trouble finding the building. We’ve been here for years and the routine hasn't changed much. It’s just about keeping the paperwork moving and talking to the agents. It is a solid, practical place to work.
