Reliance Logistics

Our office is right in Rupal Apartments over here in Dadar East. If you know the area, it is on Dadasaheb Phalke Road, which is basically always crowded because of the market and the station being so close. We handle a lot of the logistics stuff that happens in this part of Mumbai. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting at desks, making phone calls to drivers and checking where the trucks are. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but we get by. The building is older, and you can hear the traffic from the street all day long. We have been here for a good while now. Most mornings start with a quick tea from the stall downstairs before we dive into the manifests and schedules. It isn't a fancy place with big signs or anything. We just focus on getting the crates moved and making sure the addresses are right. People drop in mostly because they know us from around the neighborhood. Dadar is the heart of the city, so being here makes sense even if the parking is a nightmare. Usually, there are files stacked up high because things move fast in this business. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing, just local people trying to keep things organized. If you walk past the apartments, you might miss us if you aren't looking for the number on the gate. It's just a regular workplace.
