We are tucked away in the M.H.B. Building over in Sion. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets around here. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space with some old filing cabinets and desks that have seen better days. We handle life insurance stuff, mostly processing papers and talking to people who walk in from the street. It’s always a bit noisy with the traffic outside and the constant hum of the old air conditioner we’ve got. We’ve been in this building for a while, and the elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs to save time. There are about six of us working here right now. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. The work involves a lot of checking names and numbers to make sure everything matches up. It’s not the kind of place with a nice view, but it works for what we need. People come in with their folders, and we sit down to go through the details one by one. We aren't trying to be fancy or corporate here. We’re just local staff trying to keep up with the daily workload. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and we have to stay a bit late to clear it all out. It’s just the usual daily grind in a busy city like this. We know the regular faces who pass by the building every morning.
