Our office is in Malad, Mumbai, specifically at B3/22 in the Navy Colony area. We are right by Liberty Garden, which is a place most locals know well. Being in Mumbai means we are always dealing with a lot of people and a lot of noise from the street. The space we have here isn't very large. It’s a typical Malad building where every inch of space is used for something. We have desks crammed in and shelves full of parts and manuals. The humidity from the coast is something we just live with, and the walls sometimes show it. We handle a lot of the car-related business from this small hub. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or talking to people on the phone about various auto parts. Parking around Liberty Garden is a total nightmare, so most of us take the train or a rickshaw to get here. The Navy Colony is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when we need to focus. We have a small pantry where we make tea and store our tiffins. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of office. There’s nothing fancy about the furniture or the way we have things laid out. We just try to stay organized and keep up with the mountain of paperwork that comes with the auto industry in India.
