Regent Pharmaceuticals

If you go to Vithaldas Road and look for the Bulakhidas Building, you’ll find us on the floor above the Vireshwar Hotel. Regent Pharmaceuticals has been in this old building for quite a while. The location is very central, so it’s always busy downstairs with people going to the hotel for food. Our office has those high ceilings you find in older Mumbai buildings. It gets a bit warm in the summer, but the ceiling fans do their best. We deal with medicine and pharmacy supplies, so we have to keep everything very tidy and labeled. It’s a lot of inventory work and checking dates on boxes. We aren't some giant laboratory with white coats everywhere. It’s mostly just an office where we manage the distribution side of things. The floorboards creak a little when you walk across the room. We don't have a fancy lunchroom, so we usually just eat at our desks or go downstairs to the hotel if we want something hot. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all look out for each other. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of the people we work with have known us for decades. It’s just a plain, functional space where we get our work done. We close up early on Saturdays to spend time with our families.
