Redilens Optical

Redilens Optical is based at A-1 in the New Sonal Industries Estate. We are tucked behind the Minal Apartments on Saki-Vihar Road in Andheri East. It’s a typical industrial area with a lot of small units and workshops. Our place is full of optical equipment and lenses. It’s not a shop where you come to try on frames; it’s more of a place where the actual work on the lenses happens. The air usually smells a bit like the cleaning solutions we use. Saki-Vihar Road is always a mess with traffic, so getting here in the morning is always a bit of a gamble. The estate itself is quite old, and we’ve been in this unit for a good while. We have workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't using fancy marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a small team of people who know how to handle optics. Usually, we have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s a very hands-on job, and we spend most of the day on our feet. We take our breaks in the little alleyway behind the unit. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of workplace. We don’t have a big fancy entrance. You just walk into the unit and see us at work. That’s how we’ve always done it at New Sonal Industries Estate.
