Red Utkarsh

Red Utkarsh is over at 16, Ratan Terrace on Th Kataria Marg in Matunga West. It’s one of those buildings that you might miss if you aren't looking for it. We’ve been operating out of this space for some time, and it has a certain character to it. The walls are a bit thin, so you can sometimes hear the neighbors, but we don't mind much. Matunga is a great area to be in, especially for the food around here. We usually spend our mornings sorting through the mail and getting the computers started. It gets a bit stuffy in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed. There isn't a whole lot of room for extra stuff, so we have to keep things pretty tidy. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture or a big reception area. It’s just a practical space for us to do our work. Most of the people who come by are locals or people who have been dealing with us for a long time. We know the postman by name and the guy who delivers the water bottles. It’s a quiet enough routine. Sometimes the traffic on Kataria Marg gets backed up, and you can hear the buses idling outside. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever needs doing that day. It’s an honest way to spend the time, and we like the familiarity of the place. It keeps us grounded while we handle the daily grind.
