Red Lightings

We are Red Lightings, and you can find our office in the Venus Tower, specifically in rooms 702 and 703. That’s on J.P. Road in Andheri West, Mumbai 400 058. Being in Andheri means it’s always loud outside and there’s always something happening on the street below. Our space is up on the seventh floor. It’s full of different light fixtures, bulbs, and cardboard boxes stacked in the corners. Sometimes the elevators in Venus Tower are slow or being used for maintenance, so we end up waiting around in the lobby. We’ve been in Maharashtra for a long while now. The Mumbai humidity can be a bit much in the summers, but the office has a decent enough breeze if we open the windows. We spend the day checking bulbs, looking at wiring diagrams, and talking to people about what kind of lighting they need for their rooms. It’s not a very glamorous job, mostly just making sure everything works and gets sent out to the right address. J.P. Road is always packed with cars and rickshaws, so getting here can take a long time if you're driving during rush hour. We just do our thing up here in the tower. It’s a mix of boring paperwork and testing out the lights to see if they’re okay. We don't have a big marketing department, just a few people working out of these two rooms every day.
