United India Marine Services is situated at Plot No. 56/2 in Lakda Bandar. We are specifically in the New Rety Bandarn area of Darukhana, right off Reay Road. This part of the city has a very specific feel to it, mostly because of the ship-breaking and timber trade history. It is a rugged area with a lot of heavy trucks and old warehouses. Our place is a bit rough around the edges, but that is the nature of working near the docks. There is always the smell of the sea and old wood in the air. We have a lot of space for our marine equipment and parts on the plot. It’s not a clean or polished office by any means. We spend most of our time out on the plot or at the waterfront. The office is just a small cabin where we keep the logs and take calls. Reay Road can be a tough place to navigate with all the traffic, but we’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts. It is hard work and the days are usually long. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big sales team. It’s just a few of us who know the marine business well. We show up, do the physical work, and make sure the supplies are moving correctly. It’s a gritty, real-world job that we have been doing for quite some time now.
