Re Jewels Private Limited is based in the Panchratna building at Opera House. We occupy units 602 and 602A. If you know Mumbai, you know that Opera House is the heart of the diamond and jewelry trade. It’s a very old and crowded building, and the hallways are always buzzing with people carrying small parcels or talking shop. Our space isn't huge, but it’s enough for what we do. We spend our time looking at stones, checking settings, and handling the sales side of things. It’s a lot of fine work, so we need good lighting at the desks. The atmosphere in the building is quite unique; it’s busy and everyone seems to be in a hurry. We’ve been here for a good while and have gotten used to the security checks and the constant noise of the city outside. We aren't trying to be the biggest name on the block, just a reliable place where the work gets done correctly. Sometimes the rain leaks in near the windows during the monsoon, and we have to move the desks around. It’s just one of those things about being in an older building. We have a small safe, some magnifying glasses, and a lot of record books. It’s a steady life in the jewelry district, and we just keep our heads down and focus on the pieces in front of us every day we come in.
