Rdk Enterprises

Rdk Enterprises is based out of 73, Bombay Talkies Compound on Himanshurai Road. This is an old industrial area in Malad West that has a lot of history to it. The compound itself is always crowded with people moving back and forth between the different business units. Our own space is kept fairly simple. We have a basic wooden desk near the front door and rows of storage shelves that go all the way to the back wall. There is not much in the way of decoration or anything like that. We mostly focus on getting the daily orders processed and making sure the inventory is all accounted for. It can get pretty hot inside during the afternoon hours, so we usually leave the big main door wide open. You can hear all the sounds of the other businesses around us, like the noise from the workshop next door. We know most of the people who work here in the compound. We often stand in the doorway and have a cup of tea together during our short breaks. The shelves are packed with various items we handle, and the labels sometimes get a bit dusty over time. We do not use computers for everything because we still like using our handwritten ledgers. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it has worked for us for years. We just keep track of the stock.
