RAYZ Light

Finding us is an experience if you aren't used to Princess Street. We are on the 3rd floor of Sai Bhuvan, right in the thick of Lohar Chawl near the Round Building. It’s a crowded area, full of people moving boxes and wires every single hour. At RAYZ Light, we spend a lot of our time dodging piles of cartons in the hallway. The stairs are narrow, and by the time you get to the third floor, you’ve usually bumped into a few delivery guys. Our space is filled with bulbs, fixtures, and all sorts of lighting parts tucked into every shelf we could put up. It’s bright inside, which I guess makes sense. We deal with a lot of local shopkeepers and electricians who know exactly what they need and don't want to waste time talking. It’s a fast-paced part of Mumbai, and you can hear the street noise all the way up here. We spend our days checking orders, testing strips of lights to make sure they actually work, and making sure the inventory isn't a total mess. It’s hard to keep things neat when new stock arrives every couple of days. We don't have a big showroom. It’s more like a busy hub where stuff comes in and goes right back out. It’s sweaty, loud, and constantly moving, but that’s just life in Lohar Chawl and it keeps us occupied until we close up.
