Raymond Forge is located at 88/90 on the 3rd Kumbharwada Lane, right in the heart of that old area. It is a very busy part of the city, and our shop has been part of the landscape for quite some time. Forging is hot, heavy work, and our space reflects that with blackened walls and floors that have seen a lot of metal move across them. The 3rd lane is narrow, so when we get deliveries, everything has to be timed just right or the whole street gets blocked up. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that; we just rely on the high ceilings and the open doors to keep the air moving while the hammers are going. The sound of metal hitting metal is basically the soundtrack to our lives here. Most of the people working here have been doing this since they were young, learning the trade from the older guys who worked here before them. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing talk because our work speaks for itself when people see the finished parts. The office is just a tiny room with a fan that squeaks, where we handle the paperwork and talk to customers who drop by. It’s a tough job in a crowded lane, but there is a certain rhythm to life at Kumbharwada that we have all grown to appreciate.
