Rathod Industries

Our shop is tucked away in the Shukla Compound over in Pawan Nagar. It’s right near Ashokvan and the Western Express Highway, so you can hear the cars zooming by if you stand outside. Dahisar East is where we’ve set up, specifically at B/6. The compound is full of different small businesses, so there’s always someone moving crates or loading a van nearby. We have our own little corner where we handle the Rathod Industries work. The lighting isn't the best, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you get here, it’s quiet enough to focus. We have a lot of metal scraps and old tools lying around that we should probably clear out, but they might come in handy one day. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a tour. It’s just where we work. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. Most days involve a lot of lifting and moving stuff around to make space. It gets pretty humid during the monsoon, and the roof leaks a little in one spot, but we put a bucket under it and keep going. We know the other guys in the compound, so we help each other out if someone needs a hand with a heavy load.
