Rashi Labels

Rashi Labels is based in the Kewal Industrial Estate, specifically at unit 320. We are right on Senapati Bapat Marg, though most people still call it Tulsi Pipe Road. If you’ve been to Lower Parel, you know how loud and fast it is. Our estate is no different, with people moving goods in and out all day long. We make labels of all kinds. It’s a lot of work with printing machines and different types of materials. The floor is usually covered in little bits of waste from the cutting process, and the smell of ink is everywhere. We aren't a high-fashion office. We are an industrial unit where people work with their hands. We wear casual clothes because the work can be a bit messy. Sometimes the machines need a lot of tinkering to get the colors just right, and that takes time and patience. We’ve been here for a good while, and we know our neighbors in the other units. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just focus on the printing and making sure the labels are cut correctly. Lower Parel has changed with all the new malls and towers, but we are still here doing the same kind of work we’ve always done. It’s a practical life, and we don't spend much time worrying about corporate images. We just print the labels and get them to the customers.
